Hanging baskets- shaded to afternoon sun area?

I have two window boxes and would love to decorate them outdoors. I cant think of anything other than fresh pine sprigs but I don’t want something that will blow away. HELP!

How do you find percentage of slope?


I know a hill or slope in a garden or lawn is expressed as percentage. Example; There was a hill with 10% slope in her yard. I assume a vertical, straight up and down cliff is 100% slope. How does one figure out the percentage without hiring a surveyor?
